2 Unlimited es un grupo holandes creado por los productores Belgas Jean-Paul De Coster y Phil Wilde en 1991 en Ámsterdam, Holanda. Comenzaron las andaduras en 1991, el rapero Holandés Ray Slijngaard y la vocalista también del mismo país Anita Doth. Desde 2016 Kim Vergouwen es la cantante del grupo junto a Ray Slijngaard.

Durante los primeros 5 años el éxito de 2 Unlimited fue mundial, consiguieron un total de 16 hits entre los que se incluyen «Get Ready for This«, «Twilight Zone«, «No Limit« y «Tribal Dance«. Han vendido 18 millones de discos en todo el mundo. Y aunque tuvieron algo menos de éxito en los Estados Unidos, muchas de las canciones han llegado a convertirse en auténticos himnos en los eventos deportivos americanos, principalmente en la NHL y en la NBA.

El primer sencillo del segundo álbum de 2 Unlimited, «No Limit«, fue lanzado en enero de 1993 y el ritmo adictivo de la canción la ayudó a convertirse en su single más exitoso y la mejor recordada por el público en general, incluso en la actualidad. El single encabezó las listas de Austria, Bélgica, Finlandia, Francia, Irlanda, Países Bajos, Noruega, Suecia, Suiza y el Reino Unido. En Alemania el single consiguió Platino gracias a las 500.000 unidades vendidas. En 1996, las ventas mundiales del single «No Limit» habían alcanzado 2.3 millones de unidades.
