Alexia (nombre real Alessia Aquilani) es una de las artistas italianas más famosas en el extranjero en la década de los 90s. Desde su debut ha vendido más de 7.000.000 de copias por todo el mundo; y ha recibido 8 Discos de Oro y 2 Discos de Platino.

Su primer single en el 1995, “Me and You”, fue número 1 en Italia y España. Un año después se lanzaron “Summer is crazy”, “Number One” y “Uh la la la”; todos éxitos número uno en toda Europa.

Su primer álbum “FUN CLUB” (llegando a más de 600.000 copias vendidas) se lanzó en 1997. Seguido de su segundo álbum “The Party” un año después, y otro Disco de Platino, vendiendo más de 500.000 copias y ganando éxito en Inglaterra, Estados Unidos y Japón.

En 1999, se publicó “Happy” que llegó directamente a la cima de las listas de éxitos en toda Europa.

El punto de inflexión fue en el 2002, donde empezó a cantar en italiano. Alexia hizo su primera aparición en el Festival de la Canción de San Remo. Donde “Dimmi come” se volvió la canción más reproducida por las estaciones de radio italianas, y luego volvió a ganar el mismo festival el siguiente año cantando/con la canción “Per dire di no”.

Alexia formó parte del Festival de San Remo de nuevo en 2005 con la canción “Da grande”.

En octubre de 2017, lanzó su nuevo álbum “Quell’altra” y nuevo single “Fragile, fermo immobile”.

Alexia was part of the San Remo Music Festival again in 2005 with the song «Da grande».

In October 2017, Alexia released her new album «Quell’altra» and a new single «Fragile, fermo immobile».
